Moraira is located on the Costa Blanca (White Coast) approx. 100 kms north of Alicante and 125 kms south of Valencia. For those of you who know Moraira, you will wish to return time and time again.  Because of its excellent climate and unspoilt appearance, Moraira has been chosen by many people from all over Europe as a second home - many have decided to make it their permanent home.

The area is very green with pinewoods, vine terraces and orange groves covering the landscape together with whitewashed house and villas scattered among the surrounding hills and valleys.

Moraira is a small Spanish town, previously a fishing village, which has developed over the past few years. The historic Castle stands majestically on the waterfront next to the beach, providing a focal point for the various fiestas. The town's yacht marina, numerous restaurants and shops, set amongst pedestrianised areas, allow for endless browsing and alfresco dining.

The area has only a few small hotels, which discourages package holidays, and encourages those who prefer independent holidays with peace and privacy.

There is a local golf course. Visitors are welcome with proof of handicap. Tennis, Bowls, and Boat hire are all also available within easy reach.

Moraira beach and El Portet beach provide safe bathing for adults and children. The weekly market allows you to shop for local produce and gifts to return home with.

We recommend that you fly into Alicante airport. The journey to Moraira takes approximately 60 minutes via the A7 motorway. There is an alternative more scenic route via the coast road but this will take you a little longer. It is also possible to fly into Valencia airport - the journey will take
approximately 90 minutes via the A7 motorway. On confirmation of your booking with us, we will send detailed directions from Alicante airport to Casa Laurosa.
